Privacy policy
Who processes your data
- Controller: Álvaro Gutiérrez Villanueva, Tax ID 46152312Y, Calle de la Esperanza 12, 28012 Madrid (Spain).
- Contact for any privacy matter: alvaro@budi.es
What data we process and why
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, your email, your message, the page you write from, the date and your connection's IP address. We use them to:
- reply to you and, if you ask, prepare a proposal;
- prevent spam and abuse of the form: that is why we keep the IP.
We do not store this data in any database on the website: the form sends it by email to our mailbox.
If you email us directly, we process what you send us for the same purpose.
If you only browse, budi.es uses no analytics, no advertising and no cookies of its own (see the cookie policy). Like any web server, our hosting and our content delivery network keep technical logs of the IP and the page requested, for security and so the website works.
Why we can process it (legal basis)
- Answering your enquiry or preparing a proposal: because you ask us to, as a step prior to a possible contract (article 6.1.b GDPR).
- Website security and spam prevention: our legitimate interest in protecting the website and the form (article 6.1.f GDPR).
How long we keep it
Messages are kept while the conversation lasts and, if no contract follows, for one year at most from the last contact. If you become a client, we keep what the contract needs for as long as the law requires (for example, tax law). Technical security logs are deleted automatically within a few weeks.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or give away your data. Only these providers process it, on our behalf and under contract, because we need them to run the website:
- LucusHost (Spain): website and email hosting.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: content delivery and protection of the website. It may process data in the US, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Google (Google Fonts): the website downloads its fonts from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its processing, restrict its use or take it with you. Write to alvaro@budi.es saying what you need. If you think we have not handled it properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Budi clients
If you sign up for Budi, the data in your office.budi.es account and what the budis see of your website are governed by the service contract and its data processing agreement, which we sign with you before we start.
